Republican Candidate Offers A Solution To The ‘Muslim Problem’

Republican Arkansas State Representative candidate Charles Fuqua has revealed a new danger for right-wing politicians: self-published books.

In God’s Law: The Only Political Solution, Hubbard proposes mass deportations of Muslims:

“I see no solution to the Muslim problem short of expelling all followers of the religion from the United States.”

Fuqua is almost a thought experiment come to life: How far would a Republican have to go in order to lose in a deep-red state ?

Fuqua, an attorney, served two terms in the Arkansas House of Representatives in the 1990s before losing a bid to become a State Senator.

The Republican Party denounced Fuqua’s comment, which they said Democrats were using as “a distraction.”
